Gazprom changes registration to St Petersburg from Moscow

MOSCOW, Aug 4 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom has changed registration to St. Petersburg from Moscow, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

"A procedure of state registration of changes to the articles of association of JSC Gazprom has been completed. They include a change of the headquarters address to the city of St. Petersburg," Gazprom said.

The change of residency will bring an additional tax income to St. Petersburg, Mayor Alexander Beglov said in June.
